Prof. WANG Lei has long been engaged in the research on the physical properties of low-dimensional optoelectronic materials and their composite systems and the work mechanisms in relevant optoelectronic devices. Especially, for the exploration of the universal problems to the electron-photon/photo-electron conversion mechanisms in those novel optoelectronic devices, he has been focusing on the electronic structures of semiconductors revealed by various ultrafast photonics methods. He has published over 50 SCI retrieval papers in international journals, including Nature Communications, Advanced Materials, Light: Science & Applications, ACS Nano, Advanced Energy Materials, and Advanced Functional Materials, with more than 5,000 SCI citations and H-index: 26. Besides, he has won the “Excellent Doctoral Dissertation of China Education Society of Electronics”, the “Excellent Doctoral Dissertation of Jilin Province”, and the “Natural Science and Technique Achievement Awards of Jilin Province (First-class prize)”. In addition, he has presided Youth Program and a National Major Scientific Instruments and Equipments Development project of National Natural Science Foundation of China (sub-project).
