On November 11th, 2019, Professor Zhang Xi, President of Jilin University, met with a delegation of 5 people led by Takahashi Noriko, governor of Japan’s Tottori Prefecture. Professor Wang Shengjin, Director of Northeast Asian Research Center and Senior Chair Professor of Philosophy and Social Sciences, and representatives from Office of Global Engagement, College of International Education, College of Northeast Asian Studies, School of Foreign Languages, and College of Automotive Engineering attended the meeting.
In October 2018, Jilin Provincial Government and Tottori Prefecture Government signed a memorandum of program cooperation in Beijing, which involved the cooperation intention on advanced driver assistance systems and electric vehicle. College of Automotive Engineering, Jilin University is one of the supporting units for the personnel training cooperation.
